Henry was born in the great state of Indiana and he is a die hard Indiana Hoosier basketball fan. He was married to Carolyn Wren for 32 years, of which the last 15 were spent fighting her cancer. She lost her battle in 2005. Henry has two grown children from his marriage to Carolyn.

In the Fall of 2005 Henry started attending a new church, where he met Linda. In July of 2006 Linda was diagnosed with Cancer. Henry and Linda where married in August of 2006.

Henry and Linda now live in the mountains of North Carolina.
